ABOUT THE HAT
Tombolo collected (read: hoarded) the Large Y NYC Subway Tokens that were in circulation from 1970-1980, amassing 500 over the course of a few years. Each hat features an original token with the infamous cutout Y detail — we ve cut out the underlying Y in the fabric so that light shines all the way through.
